|
| WELCOMES
YOU |
|
Welcome
to the great Ernie Journey Experience which has been designed and
developed following consultation with National Savings, The Gaming
Board of Great Britain, The Charity Commission and The Inland
Revenue to support Epilepsy Wales.
|
| THE
FOUNDATION |
| The
Ernie Journey Foundation is a company limited by guarantee and
managed by three company officers with impeccable credentials who
always remain unsalaried and who are supported by a board of
Trustees allowing the growth of a National Savings Premium Bond
Bank |
| OUR
ASSOCIATION WITH EPILEPSY |
| Epilepsy
affects around 300,000 people across the UK and claims around 1000
lives each year. On the 15th of April 1991, the condition took the
life of Lisa Mouncher aged 18 years, the daughter of Graham and
Carol, associates of The Ernie Journey
Foundation |
| Graham
was instrumental in designing the venture for the benefit of
Epilepsy Wales who are able through their network of friends to
educate and warn others of potential dangers associated with the
condition and prevent fatal accidents from ever occurring |
| THE
ERNIE JOURNEY FOUNDATION AND HOW IT WORKS |
| The
great Ernie Journey Experience relies totally on non-refundable
donations, the minimum of which online is £5 |
| When
the donor makes a minimum donation of £5 to the foundation
5 active National Savings Premium Bond Numbers held and
drawn from the Ernie Journey Foundation Bond Bank is automatically
attached to the donation for a term of 12 National Savings Premium
Bond £35 Million Prize Fund Draws |
| The
donor is allocated an Ernie Journey Certificate identifying the
Premium Bond Number attached to the donation and the donor can
monitor its progress each month by checking the National Savings
winning numbers |
| So
for just £5 you get 60 opportunities of entering a Multi Million
Pound Prize Fund Draw and the certificate is proof of entry |
| Should
your number be drawn during the term of its allotment then the
foundation upon receipt of the prize immediately give 50% of the
prize to you the donor and 50% of the prize is given to Epilepsy
Wales, a registered charity |
| SO |
| If
the number attracts the £1 Million prize you get £500,000 and
Epilepsy Wales get £500,000 |
| The
foundation does not keep any of the National Savings prize money |
| At
the completion of the term of the 12 draws the bond number reverts
back to the foundation and becomes available for other donors or
your renewal of those allocated numbers |
| Remember
that whilst the minimum donation to enter the Great Ernie Journey
Experience is just £5 you can donate as much as you want and will
get a number for each £1 you donate. So if you donate £10 you
get 10 numbers |
| THE
DONATION |
| When
your donation is received by the foundation, it enters the banking
system in order to expand the number of bonds held. Furthermore a
percentage of the sum is transferred into the Lisa Mouncher
Memorial Trust which will be used to directly assist Epilepsy
sufferers |
| As
all the foundations officers are non salaried, no monies are
removed for salaries and the foundation is legally bound to make
available to appropriate bodies all accounts relative to the
companies activities |
| AND
FINALLY, IT MAKES SENSE |
| THINK
before you sink your £5 into any venture |
| THINK
about the great Ernie Journey Experience as an alternative |
| THINK
about the good your win could make to Epilepsy Wales |
| THINK
about your hard earned £5 and how far it stretches with the Ernie
Journey Experience. A full 60 entries into a £35 Million prize
fund draw with a top prize of £1 Million for a whole year |
| THINK
about it? |
